There are currently 2.13 billion users on Facebook. That is about 30% of the world’s population. Mankind has never experienced an era quite like this one. The power of connectivity at our fingertips has lead to a controversial debate. Experts from multiple viewpoints debate their opinions when relating to this topic. There is evidence that supports both sides of the debate. On one side of the equation, experts will argue how the easy access to social media and other websites has led to addiction to the internet and worse social skills as a society. And on the other hand, experts will argue the benefits of social connection through the internet.
